Frozen yogurt is about to hit the shores of the UK. Frozen yogurt is a popular concept in the USA and the UAE, however is a completely new concept in the United Kingdom. This is about to change in the from of AngelBerry.
With our first retail location opening in late november, we are in need of a brand identity, logo and style.
Our current competitors in the UK are;
Pinkberry - http://www.pinkberry.com/
Snog - http://www.ifancyasnog.com/
YooMoo - http://www.yoomoo.com/index.php
Starbucks - http://starbucks.co.uk/
Costa Coffee - http://www.costa.co.uk/
However, the most successful brands in the USA are the following;
Menchies - http://menchies.com/
YogurtLand - http://www.yogurt-land.com/
16 Handles - http://16handles.com/
Red Mango - http://www.redmangousa.com/default.html
We require a logo that can be used in any corporate documents, marketing literature and physical signage.
The logo needs to be quite bold and easily readable on marketing literature and as an exterior retail sign. It needs to illustrate the healthy side of the product, but also show a sense of fun, or even a little of the naughty side. We would also like to see an ‘angelic berry’. For example, a berry with angel wings, or a berry with a halo? Be creative!
We are currently working with dark pinks, purples, blues, however feel free to have your own take on colors. We would like ‘AngelBerry to be all one word, however ‘Angel’ should be one color and ‘Berry’ another color.
As we are located in the UK our brand needs to feel warm, inviting and healthy, yet have a sense of fun.
We aspire to be the ‘Innocent’ of frozen yogurt - http://innocentdrinks.co.uk/ - Please refer to the image in their logo of a face with a halo, that is really what we are after.
We can’t wait to see what designs you come up with.
P.S. We are also looking for a long terms graphic designer to work with for designing marketing material, web based graphics, in-store graphics and other artwork in the immediate future. We would love to offer the winner of this competition that opportunity.
