A 4-colour logo is fine, but it must also look beautiful as a single colour ‘stamp’ in silver or gold, or in white against a colour background.
'Angie B' should not be the focus, but just a reference to me. ‘Quality Life’ should be the focus. There are so many beautiful fonts - I love them all, and I love the play of contrasts. I can see ‘Quality Life’ as a flowing brush font, with “angie b” (no capitals) and the tagline as a sans serif contrast - but you’re the designer, I could be wrong! I need to have flexibility with the tagline, depending on what language I’m working in and what I want to emphasize, so please keep it off the main logo, and have it in a way that I can simply add the text myself and adapt to the context. For this project, we could use (in italian) "salute - sapienza - serenità"
I’m really stuck with the image. What is it that represents a Quality Life?
Circles, unfinished zen circles, mandalas, lotus, trees and leaves, spears that represent the Paleo diet - all lovely, striking and good if original and well done. If not, they risk being clichè, don’t you think?
If the font choice is spot on, it might be that the text, “Quality Life”, is enough, and that there doesn’t need to be much other than this. Or perhaps “Q”, or "QL" as a monogram could be the logo image?
If there is an image, I need to be able to separate the text from the logo, so that the title text and the logo image are both able to have an autonomous existence. I envision being able to use the logo - enlarged, cropped, semi-opaque etc - as a background over which I can place images programs or products.
Thanks for considering this project - I can’t wait to see how you envision a logo for a Quality Life.
