The brief:

Located in Niigata-city, Japan in a renovated traditional Japanese house, Restaurant Iso serves modern French cuisine with a dash of Japanese atmosphere.

The restaurant is simple, refined and high class. The atmosphere is relaxing, with wide counter seats and private suites.

My solution:

'Iso' in Japanese means rocky beach/seashore.

In this logo I aimed to capture the simple, relaxed and refined atmosphere of this French-Japanese restaurant by the sea.
