This design was conceptualized for a mattress store called Mattress Max! The client requested a caricature-style drawing of himself to put on a sign outside of his store-front. I wanted to keep the character design simple/bold/legible, but with a vintage superhero-type aesthetic. If my illustration is chosen as a finalist, I will be adding a drawing of a mattress, plus relevant text for advertising purposes.
