Descripción de la organización y el público al que apunta
We have been building athletes at Combine Training for over 20 years. Our foundational focus is on long term athletic development, movement quality and physical capacity. At Combine Training, this process starts with our systematic approach to evaluating all clients through a movement analysis and performance test. We then build the framework around the client to ensure goals are met and progress is continuous. We are dedicated to tracking measurable data to support progress. This purposeful training means that we are curating the exercise selection, based on our testing results, and to improve a specific outcome. Our objective is to create physical strength, body awareness, mitigate the risk of injuries, and help our clients reach their goals.
As youth participation in organized sports continues to rise, so too has the increased incidence of systemic overuse injuries and burnout. We have a long-term strategy for developing better overall athletes. This process starts with our systematic approach to evaluating all athletes through a movement analysis and performance test. We then build the framework around the athletes’ testing and goals.
Programming begins with targeted mobility and rehearsed basic movement patterns. Then we progress to agility movement skills centering around acceleration, deceleration, and change of direction. Finally, we enter the power development phase to include advanced deceleration and power output.
Speed is the most important component to athletic success. Every training session will include sprint training to increase maximal linear speed.
We always end with some form of conditioning to build a robust cardiovascular system which supports the metabolic demands of the athlete’s sport.
A long-term commitment to physical literacy, proper training to improve athleticism, and sport skill development is vital to produce optimal athletic potential. Proper training and athletic development require time and consistent commitment. It’s never too early to get started.
Whether you are a competitive athlete who has spent many years training or looking to embark on the journey toward a healthier lifestyle, we partner with you to define your goals and achieve what might seem unreachable at first. Progress is made when we aim out of our comfort zone. We spend a lot of time dispelling the myths that endless hours of cardio will help you achieve your fitness goals in your adult years. Strength training is a key component to overall health as we age. Age-related muscle loss, called sarcopenia, is a natural part of aging. After age 30, we begin to lose as much as 3% to 5% per decade. Programming for our adult and general fitness clientele begins with our systematic evaluation and performance assessment. This not only provides a baseline entry point for the clients’ fitness level, but also measures muscle function, range of motion, mobility / flexibility, and pinpoints areas of general weakness or prior injury. A periodization program will be designed with the goal of increasing lean muscle mass, improving flexibility and mobility, and maintaining cardiovascular health.

Our slogan is "We Build Athletes" but not sure we want that in the logo. The logo should have our name in it... not just an image or picture without the actual name. I'll attach our current logo so you have an idea of where we are now..
