Accounts of a dagger cursed by an anguished prince reappear throughout history, always attached to stories of true love or great tragedy. The dagger is present in so many historical documents that it’s been given a name, The Devil’s Cross. Disappearing for the last time in France in 1922, there has been no further account of the dagger surfacing.
Ghost writer Remington Chase discovers that her father was murdered in order to keep the location of the dagger hidden, and to cover up a centuries old secret regarding the Spanish royal bloodline. Now she must set aside her trust issues and work with the one man that can help her find the dagger and bring the killer to justice, and risk her heart along the way.
