As described by Erin Serracino Inglott in Il-Miklem Malti, a gamewwa represents beauty, memory, and heritage, making it a fitting metaphor for this book.
The stories reflect Malta’s past, filled with love, wisdom, and a way of life slowly fading. The cover design draws on this sense of intimacy and cultural preservation, using warm textures, ornamental motifs, and a subdued palette to evoke something cherished and passed down through generations.")

I'm a freelance digital artist, illustrator, and designer based in Malta (Europe). I graduated with a BFA in Digital Arts, specialising in Animation, from the University of Malta.
